gamma-Terpinene P&F has a characteristic lemon odour of rather low tenacity. In comparison to alpha-Terpinene, it has warmer, less pronounced lemon notes. At concentrations >40ppm it has a slightly bitter, herbaceous and citrus-like taste. In lower concentrations, pleasant citrusy notes prevail. To inhibit oxidation, synthetic dl-alpha-Tocopherol is added to a concentration of 1,000 parts-per-million.
