In March we wrote about instances of factory closures in China due to pollution being likely to increase. As we write this report following the APEC meetings in Beijing (which saw lovely sunny skies), pollution levels in Hebei and Beijing are off the charts (literally) as factories run at full capacity to make up for their earlier enforced shutdown. This is clearly a long-term issue for China and is a factor to consider when purchasing materials directly from origin.
Of course we didn't get everything right however we prefer to gloss over those parts! As ever we hope you find our report useful and look forward to your enquiries.
